The perfect recipe for a great trip to Hurley.



Jezz and I decided a trip to Hurley was on the cards to break up our revision. We checked the weir levels on the TV Freestylers website and it said conditions for three however due to the crane it remained on two. We therefore decided it would be perfect conditions for us and not many others would be down so less queuing in the eddy.


We arrived in the car park and a few people were there. We made our way up-stream; the conditions where high and we carried on up-stream. We spoke to a few people on their way back from the weir they said the conditions were great. When we arrived only 8 people where playing however four soon left and only 4 of us were on the wave having a great time in lots of surf.

The video shows awesome conditions for surfing and we had a great time. Sorry to you guys who didn't come we did it all on the spur of the moment and we are sorry we didn't invite you. The summer is on its way and soon we will be doing more. when the holidays come and the water gets good we will get down to Hurley more often.
